CCS is a great place to get an education with a Biblical worldview. Both of our kids have been highly involved in the athletic program through volleyball, cheerleading, softball, soccer, basketball and baseball. We love the atmosphere at CCS!
— The Spurgeon Family

Students at CCS represent over 50 different area churches. Spiritual life is intentionally part of every program and interaction, with the goal of awakening authentic Christian faith in students - challenging them to think biblically, approach life confidently and love one another deeply. All students attend daily Bible classes, attend elementary or jr/sr high chapel once a week and are personally discipled by teachers and staff.

The goal of our athletics department is to invest in our students physically, mentally, socially and spiritually through competitive sports. CCS athletes compete at the elementary and senior high levels in various sports including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, golf, baseball, soccer and softball.

Fine Arts

Our fine arts department is a group of artists, musicians, singers and actors who worship the Creator by using the gifts and talents He has given them. Students are developed artistically through participation in choir, drama, music, fine arts and worship team.

(Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics)
CCS students are encouraged to explore their God-given talents utilizing STEM. Approached through a biblical worldview, young innovators work together to solve real-world problems through robotics and project-based activities. The goal of STEM activities at CCS is to help students learn how to study and use science for God's glory.

All CCS students are encouraged to serve others in both word and deed. Appropriate local service opportunities are extended to students in elementary both on and off campus. Junior and Senior High students go on single and multi-day missions trips to help underprivileged areas and communities. These opportunities to serve the Lord alongside teachers and peers help to instill a heart for service and a boldness to impact the world for Christ at any age.

CCS is a strong family environment of loving students, engaging staff and supportive families who are united by the same morals and values. The qualified staff at Columbus Christian believe the Lord has called them to minister here. They not only instruct students in the pursuit of academics, they also serve as mentors in the purposeful discipleship of those the Lord has entrusted to their care. Students, staff, parents, grandparents and families serve and help one another as a reflection of Christ's love.

I have been involved with Columbus Christian School for almost 20 years, and I have seen the school grow by leaps and bounds. The teachers pray with their students, the coaches in our athletic programs pray with their players, it’s pretty cool to witness. My two daughters are currently going to Columbus Christian, and absolutely love it. One of the joys of being a parent of two students is watching them recite Luke 2 during their Christmas program. If you have been thinking about sending your kids to Columbus Christian, come by and see what God is doing!
