Happy National School Principals’ Day! We are so thankful for our Principals! We appreciate what they have done (and what they will do) to support our students and staff at all CCS Campuses.
🎨The best way to support the CCS Art Department is THIS THURSDAY (April 25th). Junkyard Barbecue will be set up in the parking lot and the art show will begin at 4:30pm. 📚You have the opportunity to shop the book fair, too! 💃🏻🕺🏼Several CCS students will be participating in the MS/HS Talent Show (in the gym). 🎶To wrap up the night, you won't want to miss the Choir Concert in the Sanctuary. 📳Have you seen the silent auction items? ‼️Attention incoming Middle School parents ‼️ We will be having a meeting for all parents/guardians of our 6th Grade Students on Thursday, May 2, at 6 PM. We will discuss everything you need to know to ensure success for your student as he/she proceeds to the 7th Grade. 🗓️This important event will be held in the Fellowship Hall -- and we plan to be done in less than an hour. We will be discussing changes students can anticipate (Elementary vs. Middle School), scheduling, expectations for our Middle School students, and MORE. 🧑🎓(Your student is also encouraged to join us during this event.) 📖 We are excited to walk with your student through middle school and beyond!

Oftentimes, we as parents/guardians/families are at a loss as to what to do when children experience mental health crises. We are blessed to have Dr. Karl Evans (Clinical Psychologist) and Mrs. Jamie Evans (Therapist) join us to give a presentation on April 4th. We will learn about signs to look for, types of situations that may pose mental health difficulties, trends, and more. They will also provide an opportunity for questions and additional discussion.
Childcare for K-6th graders will be provided during this “Parent University."
