We are excited to be offering quarterly educational opportunities for our families and hope you plan to attend Thursday's "Parent University" from 6-7:30 PM (January 25).
We are pleased to welcome School Resource Officer Sgt. Julie Quesenbery-Smith and Chaplain John Bundick from the Columbus Police Department to share with us about Technology Challenges in regards to youth/adolescents.
We know that many people today struggle to know what to do when it comes to technology and their children. Unfortunately, we often do not realize all that is available to our students -- right at their fingertips. All parents who want to know what to expect for their child/children both now and in the years to come when it comes to preparing them to get a phone/technology are welcome!
This is being offered to all CCS families (both campuses) -- and it will be held at the CCS Columbus Campus in the Fellowship Hall.
Free childcare is available -- and students in K-6th grade are welcome to come in their PJ's and bring a pillow to watch a movie and enjoy a light snack.
CCS would like to introduce Ms. Emmie Felde as the new Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Felde is a recent Elementary Education graduate from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Ms. Felde is a CCS graduate who attended CCS from Kindergarten through graduation. We are excited to welcome her home. She has dreamed of teaching Kindergarten at CCS with Mrs. Roth since she attended Kindergarten at CCS in 2008.
We are beyond excited for Ms. Felde to join our teaching staff and make the full circle from student to teacher at CCS!
